Help with substance misuse

a young carer runs across a field holding a kite

Caring can often add considerable stresses to the life of a carer, and we all find that we rely on different strategies to cope. If you are self-medicating or leaning on alcohol or drugs to deal with the stress, please come and talk to us in confidence. We don’t judge, but we are here to help you explore the avenues open to you.

If you have concerns for the wellbeing of a carer you know, who you think might be misusing alcohol or drugs, do talk to us in confidence; we can explore options to help and support them with their role.

Get in touch with us with the online form, by email, or by telephone.
