Our team of outreach workers provide one to one support and information, but we also offer a dedicated Counselling service should you wish to access it.
Caring can be very stressful and worrying, and Counselling can give you the space and time to reflect on who you are, who you want to be, how you are dealing with life’s stresses, and to discover new strategies to help cope with them.
We have a placement Counsellor who will offer you an exploratory session to find out more about the service, see if you would find Counselling helpful, and how it might benefit you in your role as a carer; and who can then offer a series of sessions to explore your experiences and situation and anything you wish to talk about, in a safe, confidential space. Our Counsellor works within the framework of a professional code of ethics and practice.
Just contact us for more information and we will be happy to help.
