Just to let you know, everyone at Credu publishes blog posts to share what we are up to – and each author writes their posts in the language they usually use. So that is why some blog posts will be English and some in Welsh, regardless of the website language selection you have chosen. This enables us to keep our news freshly published and regularly updated. Thank you for your understanding!
Credu was invited by Lloyds Bank Foundation to a summit about what it’s like for small charities. They are feeding this directly to government so we can make the most of the resources available to make a difference to Carers and Young Carers. I also got to go to a Parliamentary Reception to meet MPs and people from Lloyds Bank to tell them about our work. #smallbutvital
A message from carers to government for Carers Week 2016. Read the full article in the Guardian here.
Young Carers were asked by the Children’s Commissioner for Wales Sally Holland what was important to them and what they wanted her to work on. The report made from this conversation and many others across Wales, “Beth Nesa – What Next?” is available here.
Your voice as a Carer is important to the Welsh Government to influence the Future Generations Bill. The bill strengthens existing governance arrangements for improving the well-being of Wales in order to ensure that the needs of the present are met without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
A pilot conversation is taking place for you to tell them the Wales you want to see, both now and in the future.
