Blists Hill trip for 8-10 Young Carers from Wrexham

On 20th April 2017, 20 young carers and 3 staff travelled across the border from Wrexham to Telford to experience what life was like 100 years ago at Blists Hill Victorian Town. There were lots of Easter events going on at the site as well as the usual activities in the town. A highlight was definitely meeting Mr. Strict, the teacher in the Victorian classroom. We also managed to fit in a quick visit to the Euginuity Science museum too 🙂

Throughout the busy day, I was so proud of their behaviour and listening skills as well as their manners the staff working there. Looking forward to a return visit there soon 🙂
